Feeding Fido exists to help the elderly struggling to feed their pets, including both dogs and cats. Whether this is because of health issues, personal struggles, or low income after retirement.
We understand that for many people a much-loved pet can make a huge difference to their happiness and wellbeing, especially if you are lonely or vulnerable. So, we’re here to help keep you together! We do this by providing local and regular deliveries of pet food. We have a large range of dry and wet dog/cat feeds available and one of our trained volunteers will deliver this straight to your door.
Our process is simple - once you fill in this form, one of our team will be in contact to discuss the next steps and your options for delivery. Our team is here to answer any questions you may have about the service, so do get in touch.
Why we started
It all began with a warm bed and a homely place for pets to stay.
Feeding Fido was the idea of Ray Fawehimi, the founder of Elmtree, a luxury pet boarding facility in North London, Enfield.
Ray grew up with dogs being a central part of his family and childhood, leaving him with a life-long passion for animals. His dream was to open a different kind of boarding kennel - one that is a ‘home-from-home’ - creating a safe, fun and cozy place making owners feel confident when leaving their beloved pet.
Ray’s dream came true and after a decade of running a true second home for all his client’s pets, Ray had the desire to give back - especially in a way that connects his passion for animals with those most in need in our society. And so in 2019, Feeding Fido was set up with its mission to keep loved ones together.
